He’s a scrapper in the rink, but he’s about to learn that playing nice can help you score…
As team captain and enforcer, Patrick O’Doul puts the bruise in the Brooklyn Bruisers. But after years of fighting, O’Doul is feeling the burn, both physically and mentally. He hides his pain from the coaching staff, but when his chronic muscle strain becomes too obvious to ignore, he’s sent for treatment with the team’s massage therapist.
After breaking up with her long-term boyfriend, Ari Bettini needs a timeout from men. She’s focusing only on work: rehabilitating the Bruisers’ MVP. O’Doul is easy on the eyes but his reaction to her touch is ice cold. Ari is determined to help O’Doul heal, but as the tension between them starts to simmer, they both learn that a little TLC does the body good…
Hard Hitter is the second book of the Brooklyn Bruisers Series, written by @sarina.bowen.
This story is about Patrick O’Doul, the captain of the rockey team and Ariana, the team’s yoga instructor.
Patrick is the kind of guy that I love to read: lovable, sexy, protective and sweet. A good man with a soft side. Seeing him change and grow was amazing.
Ari is very easy going, even though her life is upside down. Her feelings and actions during the story were spot on. I understood her and loved how she grew as well.
One of my favorite things about this series is the rhythm… I can’t explain it exactly, but the way that the story progresses is so soothing.
Hard Hitter is a great book! Patrick is now my favorite (tortured guys are the best) and I want an Katt Phone desperately!
I’m so happy that on May 2nd “Pipe Dreams “, the third book of the series, will be released! Yay! 🙌
